sroniWell, I finished my part of the collaborative Buffy fic that I signed up for, and just sent it off to bastard snow. Yay for that. In other news, I've changed a fanfic into an original fic, and I'll see how that goes.
Hey, y'all, heads up for this. I copied and pasted this directly from Nemo Gravis, but it's still an issue.
"lwbush (Lori Bush) needs help in February. Things are direly crazy at her flower shop down in Atlanta and Valentine's day is looming large. Personnel skipped out on her when she needed them most and so, if you know anything about floral arrangement OR about the paperwork entailed by running a commerce and live in or around Atlanta (or can spend a week or two there in February), contact "lwbush(AT)charter.net" to offer your services. It could really help her out.
Of course, most likely, no one who reads or might stumble across this particular journal can jet down to Georgia for a couple of weeks. But Lori is a big name in the fanfic gig and she's in trouble and, if you can't jet down, maybe one thing you could do is to mention this on your own LJs? And just to the people around you? Because, c'm on, we're a small fandom, sure, but that's still a lot of people. I'm sure, among the lot, there are a few who would have the ability to help. So spread the word, wouldja? I will give you sexual favors and chocolate if you do *nods*"
So, if at all possible, go down and help out. It'll be a huge favor, and you'd feel good about yourself.
