Fun fun fun in the USA
Oct. 5th, 2007 07:28 pmSo, I'm still in the States, and while I'm beyond glad about where I am and who I am, I miss Asia a lot. Still trying to figure out what to do after my commitment to CP is up next summer; part of me feels called to southern China, and part of me feels called to stay in CP. I don't know; just please pray for me with that.
I'm going to try to do the Nanowrimo this year; should make for a lot of fun, even if I don't succeed, right? And God knows I have enough ideas floating around in my brain for it. Still, we shall wait and see if I make the goal of 50,000 words in November. I have to remind myself that writing can't be my first priority; I have to put the ministry first. But I should still have enough time at night to churn out enough words. If I write 2000 words a night, I'll make it with some to spare.
So, I really will talk about the other people at some point. Just know that they are positively amazing.
Oh, and here's a meme. You submit (a) character(s) and an idea/keyword, and I'll write a drabble/ficlet for you with the requested things. i really want to do this writing exercise.
