(no subject)

I'm in South Korea right now, and it's awesome. I'm staying in a traveler's hostel, and the floors are heated. So, all morning, I've been lying on the floor, enjoying the full body heating pad.

I'm doomed to live in other people's shadows. For a reason. They're more talented than I am.

Remember the self-characterization I played with? Yeah, it's now going to be part of an actual story. I'll change the other characters, so that it can go under original fiction, but the basic scene? Will stay the same.

Well, I finished my part of the collaborative Buffy fic that I signed up for, and just sent it off to bastard snow. Yay for that. In other news, I've changed a fanfic into an original fic, and I'll see how that goes.

"lwbush (Lori Bush) needs help in February. Things are direly crazy at her flower shop down in Atlanta and Valentine's day is looming large. Of course, most likely, no one who reads or might stumble across this particular journal can jet down to Georgia for a couple of weeks. But Lori is a big name in the fanfic gig and she's in trouble and, if you can't jet down, maybe one thing you could do is to mention this on your own LJs? And just to the people around you? Because, c'm on, we're a small fandom, sure, but that's still a lot of people. I'm sure, among the lot, there are a few who would have the ability to help. So spread the word, wouldja? I will give you sexual favors and chocolate if you do *nods*"

So, if at all possible, go down and help out. It'll be a huge favor, and you'd feel good about yourself.
