Remix Redux

I enjoy Remix Redux every year. Does anyone know if it'll be happening this year? I can't find where to find it.

First, be sure you’re logged into your LJ account.

Next, click THIS LINK. It will take you to the Remixers Lounge, and open a post-a-comment window on a particular post.

Give your e-mail address in the comment. Post the comment. Shortly, the mods will e-mail you an invite code for Archive of Our Own (AO3), where this year’s remix is taking place.

Once you get your invite code, you’ll have to go to the AO3 site to sign up and create a profile. (I got a free account through their beta version, but I don’t know if you want to go that route.) After you get that done, the next step will be to sign up for the remix itself.

When you sign up for the remix, this link [ http://sroni.livejournal.com/108434.html ] is what you’ll need to put in as the URL for your fic listing.

There’s a set of instructions for signing up (once you have your account) HERE. (The “Choose your pseud” step is unnecessary if you simply signed up as yourself when creating your initial profile.) The Remixers Lounge itself is the place to be looking for further information.

You need to hurry on this. Deadline for sign-up is Wednesday.

Good deal. You can avoid this last-minute rush by “friending” remixers_lounge (actually, adding it to the communities that you follow), so that notices will show up on your FList. I’ve known about this for a month, and got my AO3 membership that long ago just so that I could sign up expeditiously when the time came.
