Stars and Dreams and Fire

This story was inspired by a dream that was just plain crazy. It was a combination of Star Wars and Firefly, and then Xander Harris was there and we were traversing a cave with a river running through it, and a cave frog told Xander and I to answer three riddles or he’d drown us. Xander asked the cave frog if he could give us a pass, because we were friends of Moo, and the evil cave frog said that the other cave frogs don’t like Moo because he’s “honest” and doesn’t like to drown people. And I woke up because the evil cave frog was trying to drown me.

So, this story has almost absolutely nothing in common with that dream. Which is really for the best.
