- I listen to K-pop (Korean pop) to stay awake in the car when I drive. I don’t know the songs, and I don’t know the words, but I sing along, making God-awful noise doing so, because there’s something about it that makes it impossible to sleep when you do so.
- At one point, I was RPing over 90 characters on various post by post sites. I’m currently down to 15-ish.
- America’s Next Top Model is my guilty pleasure. I’m not sure what it is about the show that I like so much, but I really do love watching it.
- I’m easy going about a lot of things, but I freak out over random crap. Like if my toast is burning, I get frantic, trying to get my bread out of the toaster.
- I realized a few weeks ago that “Hey, listen, what’s that sound, everybody look what’s going down” is not about aliens landing in the neighborhood. As for how I came to this conclusion: I was six, and just never really thought about it after that. Until a few weeks ago/month ago when someone was karaoke-ing the song and I went, “Hey … wait a second …”
- Every once in a while, my skin is so sensitive that fluorescent lights at Wal-Mart burns me mildly.
- I’m terrified of sewing with a machine, because I’m insanely accident-prone, and I’ve sewn myself to projects by hand and not realized it until I went to put the thing down. I’d really like to not have my fingers near a needle moving at high speeds like that.
- I believe that I have seen every episode of Buffy. I’m pretty sure that I’ve seen every episode of Angel. I know that I’ve seen every episode of Veronica Mars at least three times, and I’ve watched every episode of Season 1 upwards of 30 times. Since February.
- I got detention for impersonating a school official. When I was 24 and substitute teaching.
- We didn’t name the puppies that we’re taking care of. Instead, we call them “White puppy” and “Brown girl”. Or “Whitie and Brownie”. Kevin’s girlfriend, Mei, was aghast when he told her. “You didn’t name your puppies?! You color-coded your dogs?!” Kevin and I were laughing so hard that she actually got offended and thought we were laughing at her. Much groveling and begging happened.
