Oh, GOLLY!

It's been way too long since I posted.

So, here's what happened. I spent a week with Squirreltail, and I got to see Teddy Bear, too. Squirreltail's parents LOVE me, to the point where his mom is asking him why he hasn't proposed yet, and his dad is asking when he (the dad) gets to have me as a daughter-in-law.

YAY!

The hardest thing I have ever done in my life was getting on the plane, leaving Idaho and Squirreltail behind, so I could come back to New Mexico. Saying goodbye that day... well, I was texting him from the plane telling him that if he asked me to, I'd get off the plane right then (this is, of course, before the doors closed, let alone before the plane took off). He was logical, and told me that as much as he wanted to stay, I needed to go back, and he knew that I was strong enough to do it.

I called my mom for Thanksgiving, and one of the first things she says is, "If you need to move back to Idaho, and you can't afford to come visit for a while, I understand. Do what you need to do." Which was, simply put, AMAZING to hear, because I'd been praying about that. The hard part was, my original plan was to go to Idaho for the week of Thanksgiving, and STAY up there, instead of coming back down, but I didn't know how to tell my New Mexico Family about that plan, and I knew they'd freak out on me.

So, I decided to move back to Idaho. Again, a lot of thought and prayer has gone into this decision. But I hopped on Craigslist, and sent out emails, and on Sunday, a very nice lady called- and I'm now renting a room from her for $300- and that includes utilities. You just can't beat that price. I've also lined up four interviews for as soon as I get up there. Including one with Aflac, that I already interviewed at in July. They remember me, and told me, "Okay, we need you to get your insurance license, so this is what you do *extraneous text removed* And then, as soon as you move back up here, provided you have your license, we need you to start work. Because we want you on our sales team." To which my response was, "Okay! Awesome!"

On the downside, getting an insurance license is going to cost me about $300. Which will mean I won't be able to get a car as soon as I get up there like I was hoping. (Squirreltail found out that the Salvation Army up there is selling some trucks for $400. Again, a price that you just can't beat.) I was really upset over this, because I didn't see how I'd be able to take an insurance sales job, which will require driving, if I don't have a car, but Squirreltail and I talked tonight, and he said that he'd be willing to drive me for that job, provided I don't have to go anywhere while he's working (he works nights) or sleeping. Which I'll actually be able to set up with an Aflac job, because I set my schedule. I can make phone calls and such from home, and set up the meeting times for times when he can take me. For the few times he might not be able to take me, another friend will.

So I'm covered on the ride front until I get a license.

Unfortunately, a license hinges on glasses. And one of the cats here stole my glasses- and I still haven't found their hiding spot. I swear, the cat opens the trans-dimensional gateway that goes to Garkoth the Devourer's home. So my glasses were Garkoth chow. Darn it.

In other news, my frieds' RP site is up and running, and I'm having a lot of fun on that.

I've started the Apocofic, and it has a title, and the first half of the first scene. I'll give myself to mid-january to turn out the first draft, but if I haven't gotten it by then, I'll let them know I can't do it.

And on the other site, the one for Fallout, I wound up having some really awesome posts. I'm thinking of posting the mission thread here, so you, my readers, can read the storyline, and read the awesomeness of my posts in context.

Maybe I shall. Maybe I shan't.

20 days until Squirreltail comes visit. 27 days until I move back to Idaho- which, in my mind, has become home.
