– Roni out of touch –

 
This post is actually being made by sroni2004’s father.

Early today she sent a message to her brother saying that she’s back in Beijing, and she’s finding that she can’t access LiveJournal there. Whether it’s being actively blocked by the government, or it’s just some quirk of in-country reception, she’s going to be out of touch for awhile.

She also noted that pollution in the city is so bad that, every time she blows her nose, the stuff on the handkerchief is solid black.

I’ll post another message on her birthday so that her friends can leave congratulations (on her reaching the age of 21) and condolences (on her current isolation).
