If your skin reacts adversely to showers, you might consider a bath instead. Since you didn’t mention that, I assume your flat doesn’t have a tub. There’s probably something you could buy to give you the same general effect, though. (Even a kiddie wading pool might offer a workable — if undignified — substitute.)
