I've read "A Glimmer of Gold" about six times in the past. I was reading through your stories, trying to decide which one I wanted to remix (I actually went into the remix knowing exactly which story I wanted to do, only to realize that it was actually one of Mediancat's — and being confused for Mediancat is never a bad thing) and I had about three that I had set aside as "options". I re-read "Glimmer" mostly for the fun of it, and with one line (when Severus has been talking to Neville, and Neville leaves and Severus looks at a picture of Alice), I knew exactly what story I wanted to remix and what story I wanted to tell in the process.
