Questions (and not the 70)

So, I was thinking yesterday, where did the common story component of “Xander a field Watcher in Africa” come from? I know, I’m guilty of using it, too, but I read it somewhere, and it made sense to me, ya know? So I’m just curious about where it originated. Was it fanfic, mentioned on Angel, maybe in a book …

Also, the Hellmouth in Cleveland, Ohio. I think that the first place I read it was in [livejournal.com profile] liz_marcs’, but I don’t know for sure. Personally, I think there’s another one in Eerie, Indiana. :)

Giles as Head Watcher makes sense, so I’m not even going to question that one. And Buffy in Italy, for the time being, I know was on Angel. I might’ve missed the last season, (actually, of both shows), but I saw Buffy Season 7 around Christmas of last year, and Angel Season 5 this summer. I wish I could’ve seen them when they aired, but at least I’ve seen them.

I would love to hear answers (or opinions) on my questions. (As well as opinions on my Oz answers.)

Wish I could write more, but my wrist is kinda wrapped up, and so I’m typing one handed, which goes against everything I’ve been taught.

Xander in Africa : It was in Angel's Damage episode. S5, Andrew shows up in LA, gives the skinny on where the Scooby gang is, although since Andrew isn't the most trustworthy of characters Xander might be anywhere else.

Hellmouth in Cleveland : It's one of Giles last lines on BTVS (if not the last), on Buffy ep. Chosen.

I'll go reread your latest 70 questions fics and give feedback. :)

Xander (or Giles) could have even told Andrew to lie about where everybody really was and what they were doing because he didn't want that psycho Angelus knowing where to find them all if he came back again. The Watcher's Council wasn't big on trusting W&H either.
