More ecstacy (the good kind, not the drugs)

Well, I'm home, and I'm loving being home.

I've had some great conversations with Evan in the last couple of days. Including some that have hinted that he's looking at the long run. If a hint is a couple of blatant sentences.

That being said, I'm trying to conivince myself to back the heck off. Okay, convince is a bad word choice. Sticking to the decision is the hard part. But I've been good the last two days: I waited for him to call me. And I told him tonight (cause I can't keep anything to myself, apparantly) that he's going to have to be the one to call me, because I refuse. I'm passing the ball to him; it's got to be in his court sometime. Of course, then he said, "I kicked it to you so that I didn't even catch it." "Tough. I'm not holding onto the ball anymore. I'm tired of it. It's all yours."

I'm still really, really stinking happy about this.

Hey! (: I have to tell you, your not wanting to call him is very cute to me cause I was that way with my husband too. He finally just told me, "Look! Call me! I want you to call me. I gave you the number so that you would call me. So call me! okay?!" So I figured well, I guess a guy can't get more direct than that. After that we were together all the time anyway and neither one of us kept track of who called who anymore. I'm very pleased for you that your home and things are going good for you. (:

Yeah, he has almost the same reaction. He asked me, "Why haven't you called me? Why do I always have to be the one to call you?" "Because I'm trying to back off." "Well, I gave you my number so that you could call me." "You didn't give me your number, my brother did." "Fine. I told you what times you could call me so that you would call me."

Announcing the Death of Sharon Teaster

We are gathered today to mourn the passing of Sharon Teaster.

She was spunky.

She was erudite.

She was supposed to call us to let us know that she had arrived home safely and since she didn't we can only assume the worst.

Why, God? Why?

I am so sorry. I completely forgot until the nest day, at about four in the morning, and then I couldn't find your number; I will call you as soon as I leave the library. I really am sorry.
