Coolness

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:

"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out."

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.

One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Remind other people, because most people forget about both.

I thought this was pretty cool.

It's cool until you realize it's not really true. Policeman, fireman(of which I recently lost a friend), Allied Forces etc. have also offered to put thier lives on the line for the American people. Furthermore, soldiers exist in every country and although yes there is a certain allegiance one should have for the country they are born into it can only go so far and if I were to move to almost any other country I can rest somewhat well knowing that their standing militia would also be willing to fight and perhaps die for that countries well being also. What I am getting at is comparing the U.S. military to Jesus is paper thin logic and over sentimental propaganda (tripe). I am totally for one being patriotic and I support our troops even when I don't support the causes that they are being used for but don't piss on my shoes and tell it's raining.
