Very nice. I see that you are another person who saw the B/X of early S7. (Personally, I think they messed up. I think they should've not revealed Spike's soul at the end of S6, had more of what you hint at to the point there was more than subtexty B/X, pushed "Beneath You" one or two eps back to give the B/X more time, then gone on with "BY" and broken everybody's hearts with it.)

I don't know where you got Erin from, and I'm not sure Xander would've known about her, but I see how you wanted her for the contrasts. My characterization for Xander is chock-full of pop-culture references and bitter sarcasm, so it took me a bit to think "Hey, this is Xander", but that's good. I think that for me it's a crutch. Your piece is very natural and very good.
